This biking across America is not just about all work and no play! Yesterday was a great ride. Started out pretty cloudy and cool in San Francisco, and when I got off the ferry in Vallejo, the weather was perfect. I got a 40 mile ride in due to a slight diversion through the Suisun Valley which is big time wine country. It might not be as well known as the Napa Valley, but the wine from here is equally excellent. We found this out visiting Roger King who owns the King Andrew winery and I can assure you this guy really knows wine. The scope and breadth of his knowledge about the process of making wine is vast.
