Salt Lake City...Where Cleanliness is truly next to Godliness

The one thing about Salt Lake City is that it's a pretty clean town, especially near Temple Square.  Everything is meticulously tidy and lots of flowers and greenery all around. Very pleasing to the eye. Strangers will look you right in the eye as you walk by, say 'Hello' and wish you a good day. Everyone seems to be at peace with themselves and it was quite pleasant to visit Temple Square, the Mormon Tabernacle Choir practice room and the Family Genealogy Center.  Mormons of all ages are required to do mission work and there were a lot of young people from all over the world who served as hosts and guides at the square.  They wear name tags with the flag of their country and are genuinely friendly.

Church of the Later Day Saints in Salt Lake City. Beautiful with all the new flowers in bloom, and so many genuinely friendly people.

Lunch at the Great Salt Lake.  I've always wanted to see the lake so Jaine and I had a romantic picnic along the shore. :-)
